No Matter What – Kerrie Roberts

By Mack | July 16, 2010

I love to put up the lyrics to songs that I come across and really enjoy.  Today you have a real treat. No Matter What, by Kerrie Roberts is an awesome song.  It really gets to the heart of faith and the love of God.  She just gets it right in this song

No Matter What – Kerrie Roberts

I’m running back to your promises one more time, Lord that’s all I can hold on to, I gotta say this has taken me by surprise, but nothing surprises you.

Before a heartache can ever touch my life, it has to go through Your hands, and even though I keep asking why, I keep asking why.

No matter what, I’m gonna love You, no matter what I’m gonna need You, I know You can find a way to keep me from the pain but if not, I’ll trust you, no matter what, no matter what.

When I’m stuck and there’s nothing else by myself, I’m just sitting in silence, there’s no way I can make it without Your help, I won’t even try it. I know You have Your reasons for everything, so I will keep believing, whatever I might be feeling, God you are my hope, and you will be my strength,

No matter what, I’m gonna love You, no matter what I’m gonna need You, I know You can find a way to keep me from the pain but if not, I’ll trust you, no matter what, no matter what.

Anything I don’t have You can give it to me, but it’s OK if You don’t, I’m not here for those things, the touch of Your love is enough on its own, no matter what I still love You and I’m gonna need You

No matter what I’m gonna love you, no matter what I’m gonna need you, I know You can find a way to keep me from the pain but if not , I’ll trust You, no matter what, no matter what. I know You can find a way to keep me from the pain, but if not, I’ll trust you, no matter what no matter what no matter no matter what.

This song “no matter what” has been s comfort to me. I lost my sister Dec 8th, My Mom Jan 27 and now my great-nephew was killed while serving overseas, March 16. These are all 7 weeks apart. It has been a shock to the family. I feel for my nephew the most, as he lost his Mom, Grandmother and now son.
The morning after my nephew was killed, No Matter What came on the radio. I couldn’t believe how it fit so well, into what we are dealing with and how most, if not all of us are feeling.
What a beautiful song. I love how it reminds you, that we don’t understand and may never why God does what he does. It iis his plan, and we just have to trust him.
